McAfee Firewall Instructions

1) Open McAfee

1. You need to configure your McAfee Personal Firewall software firewall to allow PC Data Backups permission to connect to the Internet.
2. Changes to either may prevent cause your firewall to block PC Data Backups' attempt to connect.
3. Open McAfee Personal Firewall by clicking the system tray icon (like the image below) or Start > Programs > McAfee > Personal Firewall.

2) Internet Access Permissions

1. Click the Internet Access tab.
2. Find the "Agent Service Module (AgentSRV.exe)" and change Permissions to Allow Full Access.
3. Find the "PC Data Backups Client Software (COBackup.exe)" and change Permissions to Allow Full Access.

3) McAfee Alert

1. Test to make sure PC Data Backups will connect to the Internet.
2. Right click our system tray icon, and select "Run a Backup Now".
3. If you ever see this screen pop up regarding "AgentSRV" or "PC Data Backups", just select "Grant Access".
