Can I back up a mapped drive on my network?
We offer a version of our software that backs up network drives, available at
/index.html.com/plans/mapped-drive-backup.html.
You can use the mapped drive version to backup a Mac, Novell or Unix machine ONLY if there is another PC on
the network that can see the data as a mapped drive. Our software only works on PC's.
We do not recommend that you use this version of the software to backup multiple PC's because of the increased package
price (it is cheaper to run individual accounts on each). However, at the moment it is the most cost effective
non-PC online backup solution available.
