How can I use Windows Event Log when troubleshooting my backup account?
To send your Windows Event Log to PC Data Backups when troubleshooting please follow the following steps:
- Right click “My Computer”, then select “Manage”.
- Open “Event Viewer” under "System Tools".
- Right click Application and select “Save Log File As…”
- Choose a location that is easy for you to find, name the file, and save it as an Event Log (FileName.evt)
- Repeat steps 3 and 4 for Security and System.
- Send all all three files as an email attachment to support@pcdatabackups.com.
