How do I backup and restore my ACT! 2005 database?To Backup ACT 2005: First you will want to backup your ACT database to a location on your hard drive. How do I do this? You may want to use the default folder chosen by ACT, or you may also create a folder on your computer just for these database backups. Next you will want to set a rule to include this folder for backup in PC Data Backups How do I do this? Be sure to remove the active ACT! database files from your backup set, since these files are held open and locked by ACT! they can not be backed up by our software, and you will receive a warning message until they are removed.
